Our Jewish-oriented program provides a safe, nurturing and supportive environment in which your child, ages 6weeks through Pre-Kindergarten, learns to play and socialize. Temple Emanu El Preschool includes the use of our private playgrounds, a large muscle room, Hebrew, music and gym classes, daily art, science, math, social studies and literature activities.

stepup3star logoTemple Emanu El’s Preschool is a 3-StarStep Up To Quality Star Rated school, which shows that our preschool exceeds Ohio’s childcare licensing standards ranking us among the most highly rated Jewish preschools in the Greater Cleveland Area. What sets us apart from others: (1) our faculty to student ratio; (2) our faculty all have specialized training (including CPR, first aid and child abuse identification and prevention) and take continuing education throughout each year; and (3) our curriculum is aligned with Ohio’s kindergarten readiness requirements.

Our mission is to provide:

•a safe, secure and supportive environment allowing students the opportunity to learn, play and socialize

•age-appropriate activities planned and geared toward the developmental ability of each child to help ensure happy and healthy growth

•challenging and fun-filled experiences to promote positive self-image, intellectual growth and independent strengths making your child eager to return to Temple Emanu El Preschool every day

•personal contact with the Rabbi and Cantor, as well as classroom activities, which foster a sense of Jewish identity and encourages the learning of basic Jewish traditions

•positive discipline through teaching, guiding and modeling appropriate behaviors
