Welcome to Temple Emanu El.
Recently celebrating its 70th anniversary, Temple Emanu El has blossomed into a leading Reform Congregation in Cleveland, Ohio. Our current facility, constructed in 2008, is a state of the art building, that is warm and welcoming. As you walk into the open and inviting atrium, you will see that our home also features a stunning large sanctuary, intimate chapel, as well as a Pre-school and Religious school facility.
Our openhearted congregation is an all-inclusive, caring community, that encourages individuals to discover everything we have to offer. Fostering the ability to build relationships, encourage lifelong learning, and become involved with social action.
Our clergy and dedicated staff continue to create meaningful programs and experiences to ensure that each congregant has the resources available to them for lifecycle events, holidays, and daily Jewish experiences.
Inspired by our past, our synagogue is also built on our future. Our youth continue to be an inspiration for all. Our teens continue to be leaders in the local community and the regional youth organization.

Friday, February 2 ~ First Friday/5th and 6th Grade Family Shabbat ~ 5:45/6:15/7:15pm Open to the entire congregation, join us for a Shabbat Pre-Reception followed by a Family Shabbat service during which the 5th and 6th grade students will participate. A First Friday dinner will follow. Dinner is free of charge, however, donations to the First Friday Fund are encouraged. Please bring a nut-free dessert or a bottle of wine to share. Interfaith Israel Journey

Come explore Israel together. We’ll come to know the topography and the history of this fascinating land, and in the course of exploring its centrality to Judaism and Jewish History we will also come to better understand its place in Christian faith and history. Our itinerary is driven by the desire to see and experience as much as possible in the short time we have together in Israel, while still leaving time to enjoy traveling together as a community and to grow in understanding of that which unites and separates us. The itinerary has been carefully planned, but is subject to changes due to the weather or technical considerations. We appreciate in advance your flexibility, punctuality, and understanding. It should be quite a ride, and the Keshet staff will be available to help make it as meaningful and enjoyable as possible.
